About Me

Kimberly Steger is a native of Huron, South Dakota where she graduated from James Valley Christian School. She received her Bachelor’s of Music Education in K-12 Vocal & Instrumental Music from Northern State University in 1999 and Master of Science in Administrative Studies from the University of South Dakota in 2012.

Prior to moving back to Aberdeen, she has had over ten years of experience teaching all levels of elementary, choral, band and orchestral music for school districts in Tennessee, Minnesota and South Dakota. She also served as the primary accompanist for the Owasso choral department and taught 6th grade geography while living in Oklahoma.

In addition to her classroom teaching, Mrs. Steger has taught private piano/flute lessons, participated with her church worship team and has had several international experiences. In her spare time she enjoys running and traveling as well as spending time with her husband Brandon and their three daughters Hannah, Katie and Grace. She loves the Lord and is excited to teach in an environment where she can openly share about her faith.
